About Nahid

Born in Tehran, Iran Nahid is a 3rd generation hairstylist. An avid percussionist and artist she never imagined she would become one of the most creative and influential hairstylist in the fashion industry when her mother asked her for her help at the age of 14.

Operating the Salon and academy alongside of her mom, also her mentor, Nahid was frequented by models, actresses, fashion and beauty insiders and influential Iranian women who loved her down-to-earth flaver of chic and discreet modern vibe style. Nahid spent 12 years further perfecting her skill and ventured around the word to France, Italy, UK, Pakistan and Germany where beauty of different cultures inspier her and exciting new projects challenge and fulfilled her. In 1989, She landed in Dallas, TX when she finally established and pursued her dream. Working with Toni & Guy, her unique hair styling earned her a position of educational artistic director for 13 years for their ongoing stylist credit program and leading the artistic team.

Her virtuosic technique and unique point of view was in high demand by the world of session hairstyling and worked side by side with photography and hairstylist legend Anthony Mascolo, Laini Reeves and Patricia Morales… These unparalleled creative forces taught her the professionalism and exciting standards she knows today. As part of there staff , she enjoyed titles such as chife stylist for Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, Dallas Mavs Cheerleaders, Good Day Dallas and lead stylist featured in Fashion shows for Calvin Klein, Gucci and reel like “meet me half way ” by Black eyed pea as well as working with celebrities like Adam Lambert, Fergie, Shohreh Agdashloo and many more.

Nahid quickly became the go-to-stylist for looks. Constantly seeking new forms of expression and new ways to let hair tell a story. Influenced not just by fashion and culture but also by the versatility and transformative quality of hair products. Character is her biggest inspiration, as she lives in the moments creating looks that bubbles up from the streets and reflect the talent and unique vision of their creator.

Despite twenty six years in the industry and working on more than 150 fashion shows and music video, Nahid have just one rule that she considers utterly indisputable, “Hair should not be taken so seriously, Life can be so serious and stressful.
